Elsevier staff will host an online training session
on the use of the Scopus Index database @ 4.00pm on Thursday
24th March. This training session will be provided in Webinar
format and should be of particular interest to CIT Researchers, Lecturing Staff
and Post Graduate students.
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation
database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference
proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world's research output
in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and
humanities, Scopus features smart tools to track, analyse and
visualize research.
This particular
training session is entitled “Scopus – Search tips to make your research
more effective” and topics covered during the Webinar will include the
